We have been receiving calls on the 1 800 LEMON LAW hotline form quite a few shaken drivers complaining of vibration problems with the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. And judging from the message boards, this problem has been going on quite a while in 2013 and 2014 models.
According to our ASE certified team of expert mechanics, the vibration stems from the drive train when the vehicle hits 40 miles per hour, and they have yet to see a permanent fix. If you are experiencing a Silverado vibration problem or Sierra vibration issue, it is essential that you bring your vehicle to an authorized manufacturer dealership as soon as possible to be addressed by their service department. If necessary, take the adviser on a test drive so they can verify the condition. Make sure you receive a repair invoices for each visit which clearly outlines the reason for the bringing the vehicle in for repair, as well as any work being performed to address the issue.
If you find yourself at the dealer three or more times, you should reach out a Lemon Law Lawyer in your state to discuss possible remedies. You could possibly receive a complete repurchase, a new vehicle, or significant monetary compensation to reflect the diminished value of the vehicle as a result of the vibration problem. Best of all, if you qualify, the help is 100% cost-free.
Don’t let a vibration issue with your Silverado or Sierra leave you stranded, take action and get back on the road to recovery.
