LemonLaw.com – a website providing information on consumer rights, Lemon Law changes, and car-buying – was honored as one of the best legal websites in the nation in an independent study recently completed by Attorney Micah Buchdahl of InternetMarketingAttorney.com.
The site, which is operated by the consumer advocacy firm of Kimmel & Silverman, received a Gold IMA award and ranked among the top ten mid-size law firm websites nationally.
Kimmel & Silverman is one of two Philadelphia-area law firms and the only Lemon Law Firm honored in the competition. The study was based on five criteria: design, content, usability, interactivity and intangibles.
In his review, Mr. Buchdahl called LemonLaw.com “a well-marketed effort, complete with some bells, whistles and the data you need to see.” The site includes a number of user-friendly features, including a rundown of Lemon Law statutes, a lemon survival kit with tips on how to deal with service managers, a lemon dodger worksheet to prevent purchasing a problematic used car, recent consumers news stories, lemon links to other useful websites, answers to frequently asked questions and a list of the best and worst cars on the road according to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration.
Kimmel & Silverman has provided cost-free Lemon Law and breach of warranty help to more than 20,000 consumers across Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the surrounding region. In the last decade, the Firm has helped their clients recover more than $100 million from automobile manufacturers.
Mr. Buchdahl, a Pennsylvania-licensed attorney, has been involved in law firm internet business development for the last seven years. His IMA site prohibits vendor sponsorship, advertising or affiliations of any kind. While offering marketing expertise through HTMLawyers, Inc, Mr. Buchdahl does not sell web sites or related products to any firms. No award-winning firms were paying clients of HTMLawyers.
