Toyota’s long, disappointingly recent string of recalls has left thousands of drivers frustrated with their brand-new cars. If you yourself are one of these drivers, you have rights as a consumer.
Toyota has recently recalled 145,000 cars in response to airbag malfunctions in 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander and Lexus TX models. According to Toyota, under certain crash conditions driver’s side airbags may not deploy, failing to meet federal safety standards.
In another, separate recall Toyota recalled 11,000 SUVs due to head restraint issues, which may not properly secure passengers’ heads in certain crash scenarios. The affected models are the 2024-2025 Lexus NX, and the Lexus RX.
