New Jersey Lemon Lawyer Bob Silverman Named Distinguished Leader by NJ Law Journal
We are tremendously proud of New Jersey Lemon Lawyer and K&S Founding Partner Bob Silverman for being named a 2017 Distinguished Leader by New Jersey Law Journal in honor of his 25-plus year career as an ardent advocate of consumer rights. Having been previously named “a pioneer in New Jersey Lemon Law litigation” in a Newark Star Ledger front page profile, Bob has been instrumental in empowering and educating New Jersey drivers when it comes to their Lemon Law rights. Together with Craig Thor Kimmel, Bob founded Kimmel & Silverman in 1991 and since its inception, the firm has provided 100% cost-free legal help to more than 80,000 consumers throughout New Jersey and the Northeast, recovering more than $160 million for clients. As a New Jersey Lemon Lawyer, he has regularly appeared on News 12 New Jersey and has been featured in a number of newspapers and magazines throughout the Garden State. He has also written articles for many publications including both the Law Journal and New Jersey Lawyer Magazine.
In addition to his work as a litigator, Bob worked with the State judiciary to establish the New Jersey Lemon Law Pilot Program with the task of training arbitrators on how to adjudicate Lemon Law and breach of warranty cases. In addition, he was fundamental in securing and protecting the Lemon Law and Federal Warranty rights for Dodge, Jeep, and Chrysler consumers in 2009 when together with his associate Amy Bennecoff Ginsburg., he drafted the provision in the Chrysler/Fiat sales agreement which guaranteed that Fiat would still be committed to consumers who purchased vehicles from the line prior to the sale of the company.
This is the most recent honor for Bob. Through the years, he has repeatedly been named a Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine; he has earned a 10/10 perfect score with the legal site AVVO.COM; and he has received a Meritorious Recognition award as part of the 2002 Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access Competition, presented by the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Delivery of Legal Services. Congratulations Bob!

Thank You, you made me feel so much better. My car is only 5 months old and 4000 miles on it and owe a lot yet and this time I have not a car. Car went in the service Dept in Springfield pa so needless to say I have to stay at my brothers house with no car. It has been in shop 3 or 4 times where I brought it and I have no car since Tuesday the 25 th of FEB I have to say Springfield Honda has been king and friendly and very helpful to me since did I not buy car from then. I put a claim in Honda Corporate center Wed/Thurs and said will get back in two working days. Just need to hear a positive note Thanks
