If you are driving a 7-speed dual-clutch Hyundai, you may be experiencing transmission issues and you are not alone. Our law firm has been representing consumers with Hyundai transmission problems dating back to 2011 and now they are affecting 2016 and 2017 models as well, specifically the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco, 2017 Hyundai Sonata Eco, 2016-2017 Hyundai Tucson and 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. We initially wrote about Hyundai Tucson transmission problems back in 2012 and have successfully handled numerous cases regarding these problems.

Common Hyundai transmission problems include: difficulty shifting gears, hesitation when accelerating, loss of power and stalling.  These issues has been written about on multiple automotive websites like Car ComplaintsConsumer Reports and It Still Runs.

If you are experiencing Hyundai transmission problems, we suggest taking your car to a local Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. Be sure to obtain repair invoices after each visit to confirm the vehicles mileage, days out of service, your complaint, and their fix. These invoices must be kept in a safe place.  They are extremely important when it comes to documenting your claim.

If you’ve had repeat visits to a dealer to address your Hyundai transmission problem, or your car has been in the shop for an extended period of time while they try to address the issue, please send us an email or call us at 1 800 LEMON LAW (1 800 536 6652). You could be looking at a repurchase, new vehicle, or significant monetary compensation under State or Federal Law. Best of all, these laws provide 100% cost-free legal representation.

If you have any inquiries surrounding a Hyundai with transmission issues, feel free to reach out and we will be glad to either answer your question or find someone who can. When it comes to Hyundai transmission problems, its important not to “stall” when it comes to fighting for your rights.
