Unfortunately, when a new model rolls off the assembly line, it is sometimes laced with bugs and glitches. Several distressed Dodge Dart drivers have contacted us on the 1-800-LEMON-LAW hotline to discuss problems they are having with their cars and the message boards are lighting up with a variety of Dodge Dart problems, dealing with everything from engine issues to faulty fuel gauges, brake failure to transmission trouble.
One of the most interesting claims we have involves a Dodge Dart that was in for three check engine lights, stalling and an oil leak within the first three months of ownership. Map sensors were replaced and software was updated. Plus, the driver has been alerted that Dodge already issued technical service bulletins on how to address these issues, and is conducting an internal manufacturer investigation. Surely this is not what you want to hear when you are purchasing a new car.
If your are experiencing Dodge Dart problems , be it with the transmission, engine, brakes, fuel tank or electrical systems, it is imperative that you get your car back to a Chrysler authorized dealership as soon as possible. Make sure you are detailed as possible when describing your problem. If you happen to find other drivers experiencing the same Dodge Dart problems on message boards, print their information out and bring it with you to your service visit. Upon picking up your car, make sure you also obtain a repair invoice which illustrates mileage in, mileage out, date in, date out, what you complained about and what was done to fix the problem. Keep these repair invoices in a safe place and if these repair attempts become repetitive or you are in the shop for an extended period of time, it’s time to look in your Lemon Law rights.
