Chevrolet Traverse Problems Try Drivers’ Patience
While General Motors generally maintains a solid reputation for qualify vehicles, we have seen a number of calls on the 1 800 LEMON LAW hotline from Chevrolet Traverse drivers who have been dealing with a barrage of different issues.
Chevrolet Traverse problems have ranged from airbag lights to HVAC problems, traction control issues, on-star and bluetooth defects with calls dropping, steering and alignment issues, fuel injector leaks, water leaks, transmission slipping, no start and loss of power issues, and trunks not closing properly.
If your Traverse is giving you troubles, make sure you bring it to the attention of your GM Dealership’s service department. It is also imperative that you receive a repair invoice each and every time you bring the vehicle in for service. Just because these repairs are covered under warranty does not mean you should not receive paperwork. And try not to allow the dealer to keep repair tickets open or offer to send you the documents. Ideally, you want to keep a file on your own. If you cannot obtain the documents, you should be keeping a log of date, mileage, problem, and fix for each visit. This information will help cement a solid claim under State and Federal Laws.
Depending on the severity of your Chevrolet Traverse problems and your mileage, remedies could include a complete refund, a brand new vehicle, or significant monetary compensation and continued ownership of your Traverse. Best of all, under these Laws, legal help is completely cost-free.
If you feel your Traverse is causing you nothing but trouble, feel free to fill out our Get Rid of Your Lemon form. We will be glad to review your situation and determine and we can help.

Hello
I was driving my son’s Traverese when the car suddenly turned left and locked the steering wheel. The left front tire also came loose from the car…I could not move the wheel at all and ran head on into a oak tree…Without the airbags I would not be writing this to you..

We haven’t had nothing but problems out of the 2010 Chevy Traverse we bought from Kia Miracle of Albany Georgia the dash components quit working and work when they want to passenger side headlight window. Also power steering quit working like it was supposed to almost run over a big group of school kids because it would not turn the car cut off while I was on vacation in Colorado going down the mountains multiple times and then the motor blew up Kia of Albany did not want to do anything about it we had to call the headquarters in Florida before we can even get them to look at the vehicle and I had also have four kids in the car and now I have no way to go they did not even want to give us a rental

2010 Chevy Traverse. Timing Chain replaced by Simpson Chevrolet in Garden Grove. Drove for less than 2 miles and engine died. Needs a new engine. Car was 1 month and 100 miles out of warranty. GM said they would not pay for a new engine. Dealer supposedly rebuilt part of the engine. They said the part they rebuilt was not affected, and since they didn’t touch the part of the engine that failed, it was not their problem. They want $6800 for a new engine or about $4800 to rebuild mine. I will not trust them with my cars anymore. I have 3 Chevy Impalas and I will never let that dealership touch my cars again.
