We have frequently spoken about the Chevy Shake, various vibration issues with several Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. General Motors drivers have been dealing with this headache for quite some time now, specifically in the Chevrolet Equinox models. In fact, we first reported on Chevrolet Equinox vibration issues back in 2015.
Recently, at 1-800-LEMON LAW we have encountered an increase in newer model Chevrolet Equinox vibration problems especially when accelerating. Vehicle vibration can be caused for many reasons. In the Equinox, both the drive shaft and axles are known to cause issues such as rattling, vibration, and shuddering noises, as well as turning problems.
If you are experiencing Chevrolet Equinox vibration issues, immediately take your vehicle into a General Motors authorized dealership. When at the dealer, make sure to explain in detail the concerns that you have, and offer to take the service technician for a test drive to better assess the shuddering issue. When picking up the vehicle from the General Motors following repair, make sure to receive a full invoice with mileage in, mileage out, days out of service, your complaint, and the repairs performed to address the problem.
If the vehicle is still rattling after numerous attempts to fix the problem at the dealer, you may have rights under State Lemon Law or Federal Law. Depending on the repairs, you could be eligible for a complete repurchase, replacement, or significant compensation. Best of all, our representation is 100% cost-free. To take advantage of your consumer protection laws, fill out our Get Rid of Your Lemon form or call 1 800 LEMON LAW (1-800-536-6652). We will be glad to discuss your situation and get you back on the road to recovery.
